Be advised that these points are provided by the Russian Navy. They may not correspond with either the latitude and longitude or the naming convention of the IRTC.

Please note that the Starting or Ending Points are as follows:

• East Entry/Exit Point:
  • Point B: 15° 45'N / 061° 30'E
  • Point C: 14° 27.5'N / 053° 00'E
• West Entry/Exit Point:
  • Point A: 12° 20'N / 043° 50'E
  • Point D: 11° 57.5'N / 045° 00'E
• Westbound:
  • January 2025: Start at point C, exiting at point D → NO CONVOY
• Eastbound:
  • January 2025: Start at point A, exiting at point B → NO CONVOY

Notes

Shipping Companies and ship Masters are invited to submit their applications to the Russian Maritime Security Service (RMSS) by one of the following options:

The RMSS collects such applications to forward them to the Russian Navy with the aim of organizing convoys of vessels for secure sailing across the Gulf of Aden under protection of a Russian warship.

The application deadline is at least 1 day prior to the ETD of a scheduled convoy.

Shipping Companies and Masters are kindly requested to cancel already submitted applications beforehand in case they have changed their mind about participation in a convoy.
