ALERT 48/26 Another Pirate Action Group (PAG) is reportedly preparing to attempt the hijacking of a merchant vessel in the vicinity of position 09°50’N 050°54’E. Vessels operating in the area are strongly advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, particularly within 150NM off the Somali coast between Mogadishu and Hafun, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
