ALERT 35/26 A container vessel has reportedly been approached by a single IGRC patrol boat and fired upon approximately 15 nm northeast of Oman, resulting in significant damage to the vessel's bridge. All crew are confirmed safe. Vessels operating in the area are stringly advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS guidance, and report any suspicious activity to MSCIO and UKMTO.
