ALERT 163/26 MSCIO has received a time-late report regarding an incident on 28 October 2026, in the Strait of Hormuz. A crude oil tanker was reportedly struck by an unknown projectile while completing an outbound transit through the Strait of Hormuz. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO.
