ALERT 151/26 ALERT 151/26 – ATTACK MSCIO has received information regarding an incident at approximately 01:45 UTC on 21 October 2026, 11NM west of Bukha, Oman, in the Strait of Hormuz. A tanker reportedly was struck by an unknown projectile, causing a fire onboard, which has since been extinguished. The vessel is currently at anchor. All crew are reported safe, and no environmental impact has been reported. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
