ALERT 146/26 MSCIO has received a time-late report of an attack at approximately 17:00 UTC on 13 October 2026 in the Strait of Hormuz. During an outbound transit, a container ship was reportedly hit by an unknown projectile. Despite sustaining minor damage, the vessel continued its voyage, with no casualties reported. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
