ALERT 140/26 MSCIO has received a time-late report regarding an incident on 11 October 2026 in the Strait of Hormuz. A container vessel reportedly was struck by an unknown projectile while conducting an inbound transit. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
