ALERT 133/26 MSCIO has received information regarding an incident at approximately 19:00 UTC on 7 October 2026, 51NM north of Madinat ash Shamal, Qatar. A tanker reportedly was struck by multiple projectiles. Casualties have been reported. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
