ALERT 128/26 MSCIO has received a time-late report regarding an incident at approximately 19:07 UTC on 4 October 2026 in the Strait of Hormuz. A crude oil tanker reportedly was struck by unknown projectiles. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
