ALERT 127/26 MSCIO has received a time-late report regarding an incident at approximately 17:16 UTC on 4 October 2026 in the Strait of Hormuz. An LPG tanker reportedly was struck by an unknown projectile while conducting an inbound transit. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
