ALERT 126/26 MSCIO has received information regarding an incident at approximately 16:50 UTC on 4 October 2026, 60NM south of Al Mukha, Yemen. A tanker reportedly sighted multiple explosions in close proximity to the vessel. The crew are reported safe, and no environmental impact has been reported. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
