ALERT 112/26 MSCIO has received information regarding a security incident 16NM northeast of Khasab, Oman, in the Strait of Hormuz. A vessel reportedly was involved in a security incident. The crew are reported safe, and no environmental impact has been confirmed at this time. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
